27F TOKYO TORCH Tokiwabashi Tower

The Tokiwabashi Tower has been certified as a “Specified Building Accessible to Elderly Persons, Persons with Disabilities, and Others” under the Act on Promotion of Smooth Transportation, etc. of Elderly Persons, Disabled Persons, and Others (commonly known as the "Barrier-Free Act"). To obtain this certification, the building incorporates various legally required accessibility measures, including:
- ensuring that the effective width of main entrances is at least 1,200 mm, and that of other entrances is at least 900 mm;
- providing slip-resistant floor finishes;
- installing tactile paving blocks to aid navigation;
- using doors that can be easily passed through by wheelchair users; and
- implementing other accessibility features as required by law.
In addition, all elevators are equipped not only with Braille signage but also provide voice guidance announcements.
Assisted entry
Car drop-off point on the Sotobori Dori side of the building with a manned desk for assistance.

Accessible car parking space on the B3F.
Entrance and exit
Two main entrances to Tokiwabashi Tower: adjacent to Eitai Dori and along Sotobori Dori.
Lift Access
On the ground floor, there are accessible elevators to the right (closest to the car drop off point) and to the left of the entrance to the building along Sotobori Dori. The shuttle elevators are on 2F
The middle bank of elevators come up to the 27F where the office is situated. Elevators A and E are accessibility elevators: please press the accessibility button within the elevator hall to use these elevators (braille appears above the accessibility button)
Accessible bathrooms (non-tenancy areas)
One "universal bathroom" on each floor, which includes facilities for people with ostomies.
2F Building Reception Desk
The Tokiwabashi Tower general reception desk is on 2F, closest to the escalators.

The Tokyo office is open from 09:30 to 17:30, Monday to Friday. You will require security pass details to access our offices which can be provided to you in advance of your visit.
Lift access
Lift call panels have been designed with an accessibility assist button.
Wellbeing room (Room No "F02")
This room contains:
- A single sofa bed
- First aid kit
- Disposable sheets
for those who are unwell and wish to lie down. The room can be booked to secure privacy should it be required (ie for those that may wish to use the room for nursing, prayers, etc).
Meeting rooms
Williams AV hearing augmentation devices are available: please feel free to let the reception staff know if you would wish to use the device during your meeting.
