Introduction
HSF Kramer is committed to ensuring continuity of service for our clients and maintaining Business Resilience across our global offices. In line with regulatory expectations and industry best practices, we maintain a Business Continuity & Resilience (BC&R) Policy and Framework, both subject to regular internal and external review. The Policy sets mandatory requirements, while the Framework provides practical guidance and governance for embedding Business Continuity, Incident Response, and resilience principles into our culture. We are actively moving towards a broader Operational Resilience model, which will enhance our ability to anticipate and adapt to systemic risks.
Core Components
Business Continuity:
Minimises the risk and impact of disruptions to critical business activities through readiness and response plans.
Scenarios include:
- Loss of premises
- Loss of critical technology
- Loss of key third-party services
- Unavailability of staff
Incident Response:
Provides structured protocols for rapid decision-making, escalation, and communication during incidents. Our Local and Global Response Teams (LRT/GRT) and our Core Cyber Response Teams (CCRT) are trained to execute playbooks that align with regulatory and client expectations.
Operational Resilience:
We are transitioning towards Operational Resilience, which goes beyond traditional Business Continuity by addressing systemic risks such as cyber threats, geopolitical events, and supply chain vulnerabilities. This evolution ensures we can maintain client service and regulatory compliance under severe conditions.
