In June this year, our Global Head of Diversity and Inclusion, Danielle Kelly presented a keynote speech at the Legal Community Diversity Awards in Milan.

Danielle talked about the overwhelming body of research supporting the business case for why leading organisations should focus on diversity and inclusion, as well as the critical role of psychological safety in ensuring an inclusive workplace culture. After Danielle’s keynote, Laura Orlando, the Managing Partner of our Milan office (Herbert Smith Freehills Studio Legale), joined the stage for a panel discussion focussed on the state of play with respect to diversity and inclusion in today’s increasingly complex business environment.
