Emma Rohsler
Emma is the EMEA Regional Head of Employment, Pensions and Incentives based in Paris.
Emma is dual qualified in French and English law. She is based in our Paris office. She has headed the EMEA employment pensions and incentive practice since September 2018.
She advises clients on a wide range of complex French employment law matters, including national and cross-border transactions, reorganisations, restructuring operations, outsourcing, collective redundancies and employment protection plans, information and consultation with employee representatives at national and European level, advising on collective and industrial relations issues, senior executive contracts and incentives, senior executive terminations, restrictive covenant disputes, team moves, implementation of Ethic Codes, discrimination claims, employee investigations, international mobility issues and data protection.Emma plays a key role in clearly presenting the issues, demystifying the complexities and helping international groups devise a strategy for implementation of their labour strategy in France, enabling them to navigate the difficulties of a notoriously complex French employment law.

- Diageo on the proposed sale in Cameroon of 100% of Guinness Cameroon S.A., one of the most important brewers in Cameroon, to France's Castel Group for £389 million
- H&M on strategic reorganisations, its Covid-19 response, including temporary store closures and re-openings and protecting the health and safety of its workforce in France, and on other day-to-day matters including information and consultation process is with its works council in France

Background
Lawyer at Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer since 2002, Emma graduated from Oxford University (England) and was admitted as a Solicitor in 1995 and became a member of the Paris Bar in 2006.
