Global Arbitration Review’s sister publication Lexology Index (formerly Who's Who Legal) has published its research on the leading international arbitration practitioners in the market. Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer's global arbitration practice has placed third in the rankings table, with a remarkable 35 practitioners recognised in the report.
For the first time ever, the report will also be published on Law.com, the most widely read legal news and information platform in the US.
The ranking identifies the top international arbitration lawyers for 2026. The list is drawn from peer voting and client recommendations, as well as work highlights submitted through the Index and GAR 100 research processes.
In 2025, the report received more than 221,000 data points, including over 3,000 research submissions from leading law firms worldwide and more than 2,400 submissions from leading corporates across the globe. In total, 7,916 practitioners were considered for inclusion, and only 45% of nominees were ultimately selected for the rankings.
This year’s report also introduces the “Highly Recommended” tier, which sits between Thought Leaders and Recommended in its hierarchy and accounts for 28% of ranked practitioners.
Congratulations to all those recognised in the rankings!
