Hannes Jacobi is a Partner in our Finance practice in Frankfurt. 

Hannes is a finance lawyer and focuses on Energy and Infrastructure Finance (including Rolling Stock Finance) and Real Estate Finance. He regularly acts for banks, debt funds, and other financial institutions, as well as sponsors, asset managers, lessors, and lessees on domestic and cross-border finance or leasing transactions. 

As part of his general finance practice, Hannes advises on structured finance transactions, insolvency law, and sustainable and green finance aspects.

Background

Hannes holds a PhD in law from the University of Greifswald, Germany, graduating with distinction. Prior to joining the firm in 2019, he worked for a leading global law firm in its asset finance team. Hannes is fluent in German and English.
