She specialises in insurance law, professional indemnity and personal injury. Her wide experience in international markets provides her with a deep knowledge of comparative insurance law, particularly in European and Latin American markets.
An accredited mediator, she also has wide experience in Arbitration and ADR.

Milagros qualified as a Spanish Lawyer in 1992. She joined Herbert Smith Freehills in 2014 from a specialized global insurance law firm. Previously, she worked in one of the most prestigious international academic association on Insurance Law (AIDA) as a General Manager of its Spanish branch, heavily involved in comparative law academic projects and developing its Arbitral Court.
