Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer is pleased to announce that Warathorn Wongsawangsiri, Managing Partner of the firm’s Bangkok office, has been appointed Publications Officer of the International Bar Association (IBA) Class Actions Committee for the 2026–2027 term.
The only representative from Thailand on the committee, Warathorn said, "It’s a privilege to join the IBA Class Actions Committee and to contribute to its mission of strengthening global understanding of class action laws and procedures."

Warathorn's appointment is the latest contribution to the profession by Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer's market-leading Asia international arbitration practice.
In Singapore, managing partner and head of Southeast Asia disputes Gitta Satryani is a member of the London Court of International Arbitration, while consultant Alastair Henderson is a member of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre Court.
Managing Partner, Disputes Simon Chapman KC and Jakarta disputes partner Debby Sulaiman, are members of the ICC Court for Hong Kong and Indonesia respectively, while Hong Kong partner Helen Tang is a vice chair of the ICC's Commission on Arbitration and ADR, as well as a vice chair of the IBA arbitration committee.
