Shula is a senior associate in the firm’s disputes practice in London.

Shula has broad experience of complex commercial litigation and dispute resolution, with a particular focus on high-value, cross-border and multi-party claims.

Based in our London office, Shula has worked on a number of high-profile claims before the High Court, the Competition Appeal Tribunal and the Court of Appeal. She has also been seconded to IBM.

Shula advises clients in a number of sectors, and has particular experience working with clients in technology and aviation.

  • Meta in respect of an opt-out collective action regarding UK Facebook users
  • IBM (UK) Limited in the defence of claims relating to a major business transformation project including the design and build of an enterprise data warehouse and related software
  • AerCap in Commercial Court proceedings relating to breach of contract in respect of a guarantee relating to several aircraft leases
  • a UK government entity in a dispute arising from the provision of IT services
  • a major energy provider on High Court litigation and an expert determination relating to a North Sea decommissioning security agreement

Background

Shula was educated at St Edmund Hall, Oxford where she obtained a first class degree in Jurisprudence. Shula trained at the firm and in 2022 qualified as a solicitor advocate.
