Daniel Chia is appointed managing director of Prolegis LLC

Daniel succeeds Ban Leong Oo, Prolegis' founder and director, who is stepping down after a successful 12-year tenure. 

"Ban built Prolegis from scratch, and we are deeply grateful for his leadership and camaraderie," said Daniel. "Through the FLA and more recent expansion, he has laid a strong foundation for the next generation."

With Singapore the legal hub for Southeast Asia, there is growing demand for the FLA's services. Since its founding as a corporate boutique in 2012, Prolegis has tripled in size to nearly 20 lawyers. 

In the last two years, it has added projects expertise, with the hire of director and head of projects Adrian Wong, and the addition of disputes and restructuring expertise through the hire of Daniel and his team.
