Leading global law firm Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer (HSF Kramer) has been ranked Band 1 across numerous categories in both the global-wide and Asia-Pacific Chambers and Partners NewLaw Guide for 2025.
The Chambers NewLaw Guide ranks providers of outsourced and alternative legal services, LegalTech and LawTech platforms, as well as legal function transformation consultancy services.
HSF Kramer is the only law firm ranked across five global categories in Chambers New Law global guide — more than any other law firm — and the only law firm ranked Band 1 for Litigation Services. In the Asia-Pacific guide, HSF Kramer is the only firm ranked Band 1 for Alternative Legal Service Providers.
In addition to firm rankings, HSF Kramer’s Australia-based Head of Legal Operations Advisory, Tuna Kutsal, has been personally ranked Band 1 for Legal Transformation Consulting (Global-wide), as well as Band 1 for Alternative Legal Service Providers in both the global and Asia-Pacific regions.
HSF Kramer has a long history of digital adoption and NewLaw practices. The firm launched its original NewLaw offering in 2011, before combining it with the firm’s legal operations, digital transformation and emerging tech teams to become its Digital Legal Delivery practice in 2024. The practice now comprises over 420 team members across 12 offices worldwide.
Lisa McLaughlin, Managing Partner for HSF Kramer’s Belfast office and partner in its Digital Legal Delivery team, said, “Our Digital Legal Delivery practice is an evolution of NewLaw, integrating leading legal minds with cutting-edge tools and technology to deliver unparalleled legal support.
“Our consistent top-tier rankings recognise our commitment to the continuous development of innovative, technology-driven services that respond to the rapidly evolving business landscape and the needs of our clients.”
