Philip Hart
Philip Hart is a Partner in Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer’s Corporate group, having practiced in London and Sydney.
Philip is recognised in the 2016-2025 editions of “Australia’s Best Lawyers”, in the 2018-2025 IFLR1000 as a “notable practitioner”, and in the 2020-2025 Legal 500 Asia Pacific ranking as a ”next generation partner”. Philip is also ranked in Chambers Global Guide for equity capital markets. He has significant experience acting on a wide range of IPO and capital markets transactions.

Background
Philip holds Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce degrees from Macquarie University, completed in 1996.
Philip re-joined the Sydney Corporate group in October 2010 after working in the Corporate group at Herbert Smith in London for five years. He was previously in Sydney Corporate group from October 2000 to September 2005. Philip was seconded to Bank of America Merrill Lynch from April 2011 to December 2011.
Prior to joining Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer, Philip worked at the ASX in the Listings and Settlement Departments.
