Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer’s employment practice has been recognised at the International Employment Lawyer (IEL) Awards 2025, securing awards reflecting the team’s performance, innovation, and commitment to excellence.

The practice was named winner of the Diversity & Inclusion Programme of the Year (private practice) category, for advancing a culture of inclusion and belonging within the legal profession, and the team was also Highly Commended in the International Employment Team of the Year category.

Commenting on the awards, Samantha Brown, UK and EMEA managing partner of HSF Kramer's employment, pensions and incentives practice, says: "We are proud to have been recognised at this year's IEL Awards. These achievements are a testament to the dedication and collaborative spirit of our global employment team who deliver the highest standards of service to our clients and support their evolving needs. Congratulations to everyone involved!"

Separately, the firm had also been shortlisted for Disputes Team of the Year, European Team of the Year and Asia-Pacific Team of the Year (which the team won in 2024). Christine Young was also shortlisted as International Employment Lawyer of the Year, an award which reflects the depth of her knowledge and leadership in employment law.
