Her expertise covers contentious and non-contentious employment, industrial relations and safety matters, including:
- supporting clients throughout the litigious lifecycle across various Courts and tribunals
- claims for breach of contract, restraints of trade, general protections, underpayments, breaches of the Fair Work Act WHS prosecutions
- advice in relation to the application and operation of whistleblowing legislation, policies and procedures
- structuring employment arrangements, including the drafting and negotiating of employment documentation
- employment rights and conditions under enterprise agreements, modern awards, employment agreements and other key employment and workplace legislation
- award compliance, including underpayment and payroll issues

Alessandra holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours (First Class) and a Bachelor of Arts from the Australian National University. Alessandra is admitted to practice as a solicitor of the High Court of Australia, the Federal Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
