David is a senior associate in the Real Estate team.
David has extensive experience advising on a broad range of commercial real estate matters including investment acquisitions and disposals, large regeneration and development projects, joint venture investments, landlord and tenant matters, financings, the real estate aspects of corporate transactions and energy and infrastructure projects and has acted on some of the most high-profile transactions in the United Kingdom. David has acted for a range of clients including property companies, institutional investors, banks and Government-owned companies.

Selected matters
- Platform4 (previously known as London & Continental Railways) on the sale of the International Quarter, London to the joint venture with Lendlease and the development and sale of various other sites at Stratford following the London 2012 Olympic Games.
- Lendlease on all aspects of the acquisition and development of Deptford Landings (a mixed-use urban regeneration project delivering over 1,100 homes and associated commercial space in former light-industrial land in South East London).
- Transport for London (TfL) on the Northern Line Extension and in particular the land and works agreements and property matters with the owners of Battersea Power Station.
- Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) on the title and land structuring aspects of the development of (and joint venture with with PSP Investments and QuadReal Property Group relating to) Coppermaker Square, a large 1,225 unit scheme adjacent to the Stratford City shopping centre.
- Société Générale on the sale and leaseback of its previous UK headquarters at 41 Tower Hill, on its new headquarters at One Bank Street (Canary Wharf) and on the management of corporate occupation requirements through new lettings and disposals.
- Proprium Capital Partners on its corporate acquisition of 166 High Holborn (Selkirk House) including acquisition, financing and on property matters relating to the proposed re-development of the site.

David studied Politics at Nottingham University attaining a First-class Honours Degree before completing the Graduate Diploma in Law at Nottingham Law School. David completed his Legal Practice Course at BPP University Law School (with Distinction) in Holborn before commencing his training contract at Herbert Smith Freehills LLP in 2010. Since qualifying in 2012, David has worked on a wide variety of commercial property matters and transactions.
