Gloria is a construction lawyer experienced in energy, infrastructure and real estate sector projects.

Gloria is a non-contentious construction and engineering lawyer with experience working on projects domestically and internationally in the energy, infrastructure and real estate sectors. 

Gloria has a background in process engineering having had a previous career working on oil refining and LNG plant projects at Wood and having also worked at an international oil company.

  • as sponsor counsel to bp, Equinor and Total Energies in connection with the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of an integrated gas-fired power generation facility with post combustion carbon capture (Net Zero Teesside) and transport to offshore storage (Northern Endurance Partnership), including construction and operational interface arrangements between projects
  • a developer on the construction aspects of its acquisition of a portfolio of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects, including operating and developments assets as well as assets under construction
  • bp on a joint venture with Deep Wind Offshore to develop offshore wind opportunities in South Korea, including four projects across the Korean peninsula with a potential generating capacity of up to 6GW
  • Agratas (part of Tata Group) in connection with the development of a battery cell manufacturing gigafactory factory at the Gravity Smart Campus, Somerset, UK, including main contract procurement under NEC4 Option C
  • MCR in connection with the redevelopment of the BT Tower in London
