Marcus leads complex project procurement and debt finance transactions across the infrastructure sector.

Over three decades, Marcus has built a strong track record in major project procurement and debt finance, taking lead roles on a wide range of transactions, including numerous PPP projects, for government and private sector clients, major financial institutions, and large corporate borrowers.

Marcus’ project development expertise spans multiple industries and disciplines, with particular strength in PPP procurement models across both availability-based and demand-risk structures.

His debt finance experience includes project, property, and acquisition finance, as well as general corporate and commercial lending. Marcus is highly experienced in both secured and unsecured facilities, including bilateral and syndicated arrangements.

Throughout his career, Marcus has played a significant role in shaping the infrastructure landscape of major cities across Australia.

  • New Perth Stadium - Westadium Consortium (John Laing Investments with Multiplex and Brookfield Asset Management (now BGIS)) on its successful bid for the $1bn PPP to build a new stadium and precinct in Perth.*
  • Social and Affordable Housing Projects – Housing Australia:  Supporting Housing Australia in the roll out of various HAFF funding round projects across Australia.*
  • Western Australian Government on the Eastern Goldfields Prison Redevelopment PPP project and various NAIF projects.*
  • New Footscray Hospital - Plenary Health consortium: Selected by the Victorian Government to design, construct, finance and provide facilities maintenance services for this $1.5 billion plus PPP project.*
