Megan King
Megan is an Associate in our London Real Estate team.
Megan advises on a broad range of commercial real estate matters, including developments, lettings, sales and acquisitions, and energy and infrastructure transactions, acting for developers, investors, corporates and energy companies. She spent six months in the firm’s London Planning team, advising clients on the consenting and delivery of major infrastructure and development projects from the earliest stages.
Having completed a six-month secondment at Aberdeen Group plc, Megan combines in-house client-side experience with private practice.

- Woodstar Group on portfolio acquisitions for the aggregation of a portfolio of c. 500 affordable housing units
- Aberdeen on various leasing matters
- British Land on the regeneration of Canada Water in London, a 53 acre mixed-use development site
- an energy investor on the legal due diligence aspects of a proposed acquisition of a renewable energy platform, comprising of solar and battery energy storage assets across the UK, Spain and Italy
- Sizewell C on its DCO for a new nuclear power station including advising on delivery, changes to the DCO, highways agreements and conservation covenants
- Cornish Lithium on a DCO project to build the UK’s first lithium mine in Trelavour Downs

Background
Megan joined the firm in 2024 as a Trainee. Megan studied Law with Psychology at the University of Southampton, graduating with First Class Honours, before obtaining a Distinction in Law, Business and Management (LPC MSc) at the University of Law.
