Naomi is a senior associate in the Competition, Regulation and Trade group.

Naomi is a qualified solicitor advocate specialising in EU and UK competition law, with particular expertise in competition litigation. Naomi has advised on some of the most complex and high profile claims before the Competition Appeal Tribunal ("CAT") and the High Court and on appeal to the Court of Appeal, as well as coordinating local counsel in defending claims across the European Union and Israel. Naomi was recognised by Law.com International as one of the Rising Stars: The UK Legal Industry’s Best Up‑and‑Coming Women 2026. Naomi is also an assistant author of the competition claims chapter of "Class Actions in England and Wales", the leading textbook in the area of competition class actions.

Naomi advises clients on both follow-on and standalone claims, including collective actions, in a range of sectors including regulated utilities, TMT, the automotive industry and consumer goods. Naomi also advises on economic regulation (including price controls).

  • Iveco, CNH Industrial and Stellantis as coordinating and UK competition litigation counsel in relation to follow-on damages claims stemming from the European Commission's settlement decision in Trucks, one of the most high profile competition infringement and follow-on damages cases in Europe
  • Meta in respect of the Gormsen collective action alleging abusive conduct which has been brought in the CAT
  • Severn Trent in relation to successfully resisting an application for a Collective Proceedings Order brought by Professor Carolyn Roberts, acting as the proposed class representative for breach of an alleged dominant position
  • Motorola in defence of an alleged abuse of dominant position collective action brought by Clare Spottiswoode in the CAT
  • A Japanese company on threatened follow-on damages arising out of the European Commission's cartel investigation into automotive bearings

Background

Naomi obtained a Law with Chinese Law Degree from the University of Nottingham, having spent a year studying at the University of Hong Kong. Naomi also holds a postgraduate diploma in competition law from King's College London. In 2021, Naomi qualified as a Solicitor Advocate.
