Thabani Mabubula
Thabani is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution practice based in the Johannesburg office.
Thabani advises clients on commercial litigation and international arbitrations, with a focus on the energy and infrastructure sector. He mainly acts for independent power producers, listed entities and state-owned entities in disputes arising from contractual agreements, construction and supply contracts, and shareholder arrangements. He has experience in arbitrations under the ICC and LCIA rules, and of related High Court proceedings. Additionally, he advises clients on managing contentious risk before disputes crystalise, working alongside the firm’s wider dispute team.
