Yating Wang
Yating Wang works on complex commercial litigation.
Yating represents and advises domestic and international clients in federal and state courts, arbitration proceedings and internal investigations. Her experience includes contract disputes; securities, derivative and fraud cases; antitrust class actions; bankruptcy litigation; and cross-border arbitration. She has experience at all stages of the dispute resolution process. Yating also maintains a pro bono practice consisting of immigration and family law matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Yating worked as an associate at a New York City-based litigation boutique, where she represented clients in a broad range of commercial disputes. She also served as a law clerk to the Hon. Margaret A. Chan in the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Commercial Division, where she drafted decisions and conducted discovery conferences in complex commercial cases.

Background
Yating received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law. While in law school, she served on the editorial board of the Fordham Environmental Law Review and was a member of the Walter Leitner International Human Rights Clinic. Yating received her L.L.B. from Beijing Foreign Studies University and studied at Waseda Law School in Japan as an exchange student.
Yating also served as a senior organizer with Community of Volunteer Educators, a New York City-based nonprofit organization she helped establish during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Yating is fluent in English and Mandarin.
