Sven Büttner studied law in Bochum and Düsseldorf and passed his first state examination in 2021. He then worked as a research assistant at the chair of civil law, commercial and economic law at Heinrich Heine University while pursuing his doctorate. He completed his doctorate on a topic related to corporate law in 2023 and his second state examination at the Higher Regional Court of Düsseldorf in 2025.
