Eleanor is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution team of our London office specialising in commercial disputes. 

Eleanor has experience of working on a wide range of commercial disputes, including class actions and High Court litigation. She has advised clients in relation to jurisdictional challenges, regulatory matters, tortious disputes and class action lawsuits.

Prior to qualifying into the commercial litigation team, Eleanor completed a six-month secondment to British American Tobacco as part of the Regulatory Litigation team.

Selected matters

  • acting for BHP in relation to claims arising out of the collapse of the Fundão dam in Brazil
  • acting for a global technology company in connection with a threatened class action to be brought in the English High Court involving at least 12,000 claimants alleging unlawful means conspiracy

Background

Eleanor graduated from the University of Birmingham with a First Class Bachelor of Arts in History, which included a year studying at San Francisco State University. Eleanor trained at the firm and qualified into our Disputes practice in 2025.
