Jannis is UK Head of ESG and a member of our Global Corporate Energy team, specialising in Sustainability and Energy Transition, advising clients across various sectors on ESG and climate change issues, as well as supporting them on domestic and international power projects and energy and infrastructure developments.

- working with Legal Response International on advice to Burkina Faso on Article 6 of the Paris Agreement
- The Government of Sierra Leone on the establishment of a carbon market mechanism in accordance with the framework created under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement
- The International Council on Mining and Metals on its Scope 3 Target Setting Guidance and Nature Position Statement
- National Grid in relation to the nationalisation of the Electricity System Operator (NGESO) by the UK Government

Jannis has been attending the last three COPs (Conference of the Parties: 28, 29 and 30) to work with LRI on advising developing and least developed countries in the UN climate negotiations.

He is a solicitor qualified in England, a member of the Irish Law Society and currently in the process of being accredited in Germany. He advises in English and German.
