Liam is a Solicitor in the Class Actions team, based in our Sydney office.


Liam comes to HSF Kramer from New Zealand, where he worked as a prosecutor and litigator, with experience in trial and appellate advocacy on behalf of the Crown and government clients in criminal and regulatory matters.

Selected matters

  • junior counsel for WorkSafe New Zealand in a health and safety prosecution of 13 defendants relating to events arising from the Whakaari | White Island eruption*
  • lead counsel for the Ministry for Primary Industries in its prosecution of the New Zealand Sugar Company relating to a nationwide recall of sugar products contaminated with lead*
  • sole prosecutor in a three-week jury trial in the Auckland District Court of two defendants for offending relating to a 25-year-long identity fraud*
  • represented the Crown in the New Zealand Court of Appeal in the leading decision concerning the penalties for manufacturing 3D printed firearms*
