Rebecca is a senior associate in the London Dispute Resolution team.
Rebecca advises clients on complex commercial disputes, with a particular focus on class actions, contractual claims and regulatory investigations. She has experience acting for clients across a range of sectors including automotive, energy, financial services, technology and infrastructure and has worked on matters involving cross-border elements and multi-party proceedings.
Rebecca's work frequently involves high-profile and media-sensitive litigation. She also has experience supporting clients through regulatory inquiries and investigations, and has contributed to the development of case strategy in matters involving novel legal issues and significant reputational risk.

- successfully defending New Zealand based companies in a challenge of jurisdiction in the Court of Appeal in England and Wales
- Mercedes Benz in relation to one of the largest class actions in the High Court of England and Wales known as the NOx Litigation, alleging the use of "prohibited defeat devices" in diesel vehicles contrary to emissions regulations. The class action against Mercedes Benz is being case managed alongside similar group claims being brought against over a dozen other global car manufacturers
- advising a global logistics company in relation to contractual queries arising from warehouse and transportation contracts
- acting for the Post Office in relation to the overturned convictions redress scheme
- acting for a large international mining organisation in respect of parallel proceedings in the Supreme Court of Western Australia arising from non-payment of royalties where the alleged loss of opportunity claims totalled over $US3.5 billion *
- successfully defending a private aviation company in respect of a shareholder dispute brought my minority shareholder claiming oppression in the Supreme Court of Victoria*
- defending majority shareholders in a claim brought in the Supreme Court of Victoria by minority shareholders and founders of a technology company dealing in the internet of things*

Background
Rebecca graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2018 with a double degree in Law (First Class Honours) and Arts, majoring in Psychology (Distinction). Prior to joining Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer in London in November 2023, she worked as a Tipstaff to the Honourable Justice Helen Wilson in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and as a solicitor at a top-tier Australian law firm.
