Sarah advises clients on the acquisition and development of power and infrastructure assets.

Sarah is a corporate energy partner with a focus on advising private and public sector clients on large and complex transactions, including acquisitions, joint ventures and project development.

In particular, Sarah advises clients on their investment in and development of power sector assets including conventional, renewable and nuclear generation as well as the wider energy transition. She regularly acts for financial investors, utilities, IPPs,  lenders, governments and regulators.

She also advises clients on project development, and complex commercial contracts, in the energy and infrastructure sectors.

  • CVC DIF on its majority investment into Low Carbon
  • Sandbrook Capital and Voltwise Power on the acquisition and financing of a portfolio of UK BESS projects from SMS Energy.
  • AIP Management on the acquisition of a 50% ownership stake in Coalburn 2, a BESS facility with 1GWh of energy storage capacity, owned by CIP, and on the acquisition of a 49% interest in each of three BESS projects in England from BW ESS, which together have energy storage capacity of 2.4GWh
  • Interpath Advisory, joint administrators of Toucan Energy Holdings 1 Limited, on the sale of Toucan Energy’s solar portfolio to Schroders Greencoat, for approximately £700 million
  • bp on its joint venture with Equinor to develop the Beacon and Empire offshore windfarms in the United States of America
  • Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners K/S on the investment in, development of, refinancing of and subsequent sale of over £1 billion of biomass transactions in the UK, at Brigg, Snetterton, Templeborough and Kent biomass plants

Sarah was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 2005 and holds an LLB (Hons), Bristol University (2001).
