Shari Kahn Krouner represents funds and investors in private equity, co-investment, and merger and acquisition transactions, as well as issuers in public and private debt and equity offerings.

Shari also works closely with the Bankruptcy and Restructuring practice on complex cases. She provides advice to help clients efficiently and effectively solve legal, structural and transactional issues.

Shari has played a prominent role in representing Lexington Partners in all of its co-investment transactions — approximately $10 billion in committed capital in more than 530 companies worldwide, alongside more than 180 sponsors. Her other notable representations include the Ad Hoc Group of Bondholders holding approximately $3 billion of bonds in PREPA, Puerto Rico’s electric company; bondholders, acquirers, potential acquirers and other major creditors in Jefferson County, AL, Bally Total Fitness and ASARCO; lenders in Westmoreland Coal; the official unsecured creditors’ committees for Hertz, Residential Capital, NII Holdings and Smurfit-Stone; and debtors in the bankruptcies of General Maritime and Bally Total Fitness.

In addition to her work on behalf of clients, Shari serves on the firm's Hiring, Investment and Women’s Initiative committees.
