Stephen specialises in mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures with a focus on the energy and infrastructure sectors, with experience spanning oil and gas, petrochemicals, energy transition and large-scale infrastructure.
He also has significant in-house experience, having been seconded to UK FTSE 100 company, BAE Systems.

Stephen has extensive experience advising sovereign wealth funds, multinational corporations and institutional investors on complex cross-border M&A and joint venture transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
His energy sector experience includes advising on oil and gas investments, petrochemical joint ventures, investments in oil pipeline infrastructure, and hydrogen and gas manufacturing facilities. His experience also extends to energy transition matters, including battery technology and Internet of Things infrastructure.
His secondment as in-house M&A counsel to FTSE 100 company BAE Systems gave him a strong commercial perspective and an understanding of clients' objectives from both sides of the negotiating table.
