The Kramer Levin team that secured Acceleration Bay a $23.4 million verdict in a jury trial in Delaware Federal Court was given “Runners-up Honors” in Litigation Daily’s Litigator of the Week column on May 10, 2024.

The jury found that Activision infringed Acceleration Bay’s two asserted patents related to advanced networking and broadcasting technology that enabled key multiplayer functionality in Activision’s blockbuster Call of Duty and World of Warcraft games. Acceleration Bay first filed suit in 2015.
