Kramer Levin advised ARC Excess & Surplus, LLC (ARC), one of the top five largest specialty wholesale insurance distributors in the U.S. and a portfolio company of funds managed by Stone Point Capital, on its acquisition by CRC Group, a leading independent wholesale specialty insurance distributor. The deal, the terms of which are confidential, closed on May 1, 2025. ARC will join CRC Specialty, continuing to operate under its existing leadership team.
