Manuel is a junior associate in the corporate practice in the Madrid office.

He advises corporates and funds on transactions mainly related to M&A, private equity and renewable energy, as well as on company law, restructuring and domestic and cross-border transactions.

  • a German biomethane producer and project developer on the  signing of a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) with a local partner for the development of eight (8) biomethane plants in Andalusia (Spain)*
  • a listed Dutch bank on the €75 million refinancing of certain subsidiaries of a UK-domiciled investment company, in connection with the development of a 180 MW portfolio of photovoltaic assets in Spain*
  • a listed Dutch bank on the financing of a 93 MW renewable energy project portfolio*

Background

He holds a degree in Law and International Relations from the University of Navarra, along with a dual Master's degree in Admission to the Bar and Business Law (LL.M.) from the same institution, and he is a member of the Madrid Bar Association. He speaks Spanish and English.

Before joining the firm, he worked for two and a half years at a leading international law firm.
