Marco Accorroni is a senior associate in the Italian Corporate Crime & Investigations practice of Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer, based in the Milan office.

Marco's practice focuses on white-collar criminal matters as well as civil and criminal litigation.

He has significant experience providing assistance to clients facing inquiries from Italian public prosecutors and regulatory authorities, as well as from U.S. federal and state agencies, such as the SEC, OCC, DOJ, FTC, and the New York Attorney General.

Additionally, Marco represents companies and their senior executives in various disputes involving claims of corporate wrongdoing and mass torts across multiple industries.

He is admitted to the Bar in New York and Rome.

Background

Prior to joining the firm, Marco worked at a renowned international law firm. He graduated with a Master’s degree in Law (L.M.) from the University of Pisa and obtained a diploma in legal sciences from Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna. Additionally, he earned an LL.M. from New York University (NYU). At NYU, Marco was awarded with the Hauser Global Scholarship and worked as researcher at the Program on Corporate Compliance and Enforcement (PCCE) under the supervision of Professor Jennifer H. Arlen.

Marco is fluent in English and French, as well as his native language, Italian.
