Litigation partners Norman C. Simon and Jeffrey S. Trachtman have been named to City & State New York’s 2021 Pride Power 100 list. Norm was recognized for having served as co-chair of the Empire State Pride Agenda and his pro bono commitment to LGBTQ rights, including representing same-sex couples seeking the right to marry in New York.
Jeff was recognized for his long standing commitment to LGBTQ rights, including the firm’s partnering with Lambda Legal to block the Trump administration from implementing asylum rules that would have made it nearly impossible for LGBTQ and HIV-positive refugees to receive asylum in the United States.
