Herbert Smith Freehills graduate program awarded top spot for a third year

Leading international law firm, Herbert Smith Freehills (HSF) has secured the top spot as Australia’s Top Law Graduate Employer for a third consecutive year. HSF also placed 8^th overall in Australia’s Top 100 Graduate Employer ranking.   

International graduate job platform, Prosple, announced the rankings this month. The rankings are assessed based on graduate application data and the quality of the graduate program.  

HSF’s Senior Manager for Early Careers, James Keane, said HSF is known for its outstanding graduate program and is proud to be recognised as the top graduate employer for another year.

Graduate solicitor, Elle Henriksen, said the three rotations has given her broad exposure across the firm to support her personal and professional development.

“So far, I’ve rotated across Intellectual Property Disputes and Corporate practices, with one more rotation to go. Through exposure to these different practice areas, in a learning-focused environment, I have had both the support and flexibility to discover what kind of commercial lawyer I want to become,” Elle said.  

HSF also ranked in the Top 10 in GradConnection’s ‘Most Popular Lawyer Employer’ and ‘Most Popular Clerkship Employer’ Award categories.

Applications for HSFs next Vacation Clerkship round will open from June onwards.
