Leading global law firm Herbert Smith Freehills has advised Jet2 plc (Jet2) on the launch of its inaugural share buyback programme, announced on 29 April 2025. The programme, which is in the sum of £250 million, is expected to run over the next six to nine months.
The Herbert Smith Freehills team was led by partner and UK head of Corporate Governance Advisory Gareth Sykes, supported by tax partner Will Arrenberg and corporate governance associate Hannah Whitney.
