Leading global law firm Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer has advised Corporación América Airports S.A. (CAAP), a leading private airport operator, in connection with its full acquisition of Corporación América Italia S.p.A. (CAI).

The transaction involved a multi-jurisdictional share swap arrangement for CAAP to achieve a full indirect ownership stake in CAI and with Investment Corporation of Dubai receiving 1,996,439 new shares in CAAP. 

The Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer team comprising partner Marc Tkatcheff, senior associate Joachim Apra and senior paralegal Elodie Luksys advised CAAP on the Luxembourg legal aspects of the transaction.
