Some information seasonally "freed" by the FCA

The FCA has published responses to a variety of Freedom of Information requests, ranging from the value of its art collection and data on high earners by gender to the number of calls it received about rare earth metals and carbon credits.  Amongst the various responses published, the following seem likely to be of direct interest to followers of our blog:  

• Number of SIF interviews conducted by FSA/FCA by sector from Sept 2009 (approvals and withdrawals - no refusals)
• Number of STR reports to FSA/FCA from Aug 2012 to May 2013
• Case costs of prosecution of Graham, Whiston and Whelan
• Requests for assistance from foreign enforcement agencies, and from US enforcement agencies in particular (includes corrected figures for 2006, 2010 and 2012)
• Numbers of companies and individuals authorised as at August 2013,  and of final notices against firms and individuals in 2012
• Number of financial promotions withdrawn and amended from October 2012 to June 2013
• MoUs  and policies, procedures and guidance (with domestic and with foreign regulators) on sharing of whistleblowing information/intelligence, number of disclosures received, referred to foreign regulator (none) and how tracked once referred
