Over the last decade, the prominence of diversity and inclusion (D&I) has increased significantly, driven to some extent by movements such as #MeToo and Black Lives Matter. D&I also falls squarely within the ESG agenda. In the UK, D&I remains a strong focus of financial regulators and the FCA’s CEO, Nikhil Rathi, has stressed the importance of an organisation like the FCA being diverse and reflecting the communities it serves.
