We are thrilled to announce that we will once again be a proud Gold Sponsor of the London Conference on International Law, returning for its 2026 edition as the foremost biennial event in the international legal calendar.
Scheduled for Thursday 1 October and Friday 2 October 2026 at the QEII Centre in Westminster, London, the conference continues to serve as an essential gathering point for the global legal community. Bringing together eminent practitioners, academics, policymakers and diplomats from around the world, it offers an unrivalled forum for examining and influencing the direction of public international law.
This year's programme is set to deliver two days of rigorous and wide-ranging discussion, with leading voices from across the field exploring the evolving scope and boundaries of international law. Delegates can expect sessions that push beyond established frameworks, explore new perspectives and spark the kind of cross-disciplinary conversation that makes this conference a standout fixture in the legal year.
Andrew Cannon, Partner and Global Co-Head of International Arbitration and Public International Law, based in our London office, will be contributing to the second day's proceedings in a session entitled: "Non-State Actors and International Law: Accounting for Plural Power", taking place from 14:00 to 15:30. The panel will be moderated by Ahila Sornarajah (Legal Counsellor, Deputy Director, Agent to the European Court of Human Rights, Head of Europe, Human Rights and Trade Team, FCDO). Andrew will be joined on the panel by Mustafa Qadri (Director, Equidem), Dr Klara Polackova Van der Ploeg (Associate Professor, Stetson University College of Law) and Dr Jelena Aparac (Former Chair-Member, UN Working Group on the Use of Mercenaries; Independent Governance and International Law Advisor).
We look forward to seeing the international legal community come together once again in Westminster this October. If you would like to register to attend, limited tickets are still available here.
