HMRC has published a new SAYE savings prospectus which comes into force from 6 April 2022.
The only change is to remove the easement introduced on 10 June 2022 which allowed employees who were furloughed or on unpaid leave due to COVID-19 to pause saving for an unlimited period.
The old prospectus (dated 10 June 2020) will apply to invitations sent to employees before 6 April 2022, if an application is returned by the employee within 30 days of 6 April 2022. The new prospectus applies thereafter.
