Aidan has extensive experience advising a wide range of corporate clients in complex commercial disputes involving investigations, arbitrations and court proceedings. 

Aidan’s recent matters include defending a global accounting firm in claims arising out of the collapse of an investment fund, an Australian bank in relation to a significant regulatory investigation, energy companies in relation to oil and gas disputes, and an investment bank in a large-scale IPO class action. 

He works with clients across a range of sectors, with a particular focus on the banking/financial services, energy and consumer sectors.

Background

Aidan holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (with Honours) from the University of Auckland and a Bachelor of Civil Laws (Merit) from the University of Oxford. 

Aidan is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria and is admitted to practice in Australian federal courts. He has also served as Judges’ clerk to the Honourable Justice William Young of the Supreme Court of New Zealand. Aidan has worked in London, New York, Melbourne and New Zealand.
