Alexis is a Senior Associate in the Paris Corporate Crime, Investigations and Compliance team.

Alexis's practice focuses on white-collar crime matters as well as compliance advisory issues. He advises French and international companies, as well as their executives, at all stages of criminal proceedings. Alexis has been involved in various high-profile cases concerning issues such as breaches of integrity (public or private corruption), financial frauds, and misleading commercial practices (notably regarding greenwashing matters), both in defence and for the victims.

Alexis also assists clients in the conduct of internal investigations and the implementation or strengthening of compliance programs, particularly in terms of anti-corruption in accordance with the Sapin II law.

  • defending a credit institution specialising in consumer credit accused of complicity in organised fraud in several cases related to housing and energy renovation activities*
  • defending an energy company under investigation for misleading commercial practices in connection with greenwashing allegations*
  • defending industrial players in criminal proceedings initiated following accidents on their plant sites (manslaughter, unintentional injury, etc.)*
  • conducting an internal investigation into massive internal fraud resulting from the misuse of public procurement rules by a former employee of a company in the energy sector and his internal accomplices*
  • advising French and foreign groups on their anti-corruption compliance programs and in the context of audits by the French Anti-Corruption Agency*

Background

Prior to joining the firm, Alexis spent six years working at a renowned international law firm.

He holds a Business Law master's degree from Sciences Po Paris and a Diploma in Criminal Law from the Paris II Panthéon-Assas University.

Alexis is a member of the Paris Bar since 2019 and is fluent in English.

He is part of the emergency criminal defence lists of the Paris Bar.
