Benjamin Lobley advises clients on derivatives and structured products, as well as related trading and regulatory matters.

Benjamin advises investment funds and their managers, investment banks, commodity brokers and traders and other market participants on a full spectrum of cleared, over-the-counter, exchange-traded and derivatives-based products and transactions, including commodity, credit, currency, fixed-income, fund and interest rate derivatives, as well as structured financing swaps, repurchases and other asset-based financing arrangements. His work includes negotiating ISDA master agreements, credit support annexes, swap execution and clearing documentation, collateral segregation arrangements and confirmations covering a range of products.

Drawing on his experience with financial institutions, asset managers and corporate clients, Benjamin combines detailed knowledge of trading documentation with a practical understanding of the business and regulatory considerations that shape transaction. He counsels clients on key business and regulatory matters, structuring new products, joint ventures and other strategic partnership. He also advises on compliance with Dodd-Frank and EMIR, SEC reporting and disclosure requirements, and on regulatory reforms and other developments impacting the derivatives and structured products market.
