Christian is a solicitor in our Melbourne projects, energy & infrastructure team.

Christian has advised borrowers, lenders, sponsors and agents on a variety of finance transactions, with a core focus in the energy, infrastructure and transport sectors. His experience includes project financings, PPPs, acquisition financings and real estate financings. 

Experience & capabilities

Selected matters

  • advising Flow Power on a portfolio project financing covering a suite of solar assets and hybrid solar plus BESS projects*
  • advising the syndicate and bilateral lenders in relation to Victoria Power Networks $850m financing ($650 million syndicated and $200 million bilaterals)* 
  • advising QPM Energy on its multi-stage project financing of its gas-fired power station in Moranbah, Queensland to facilitate the construction of its 112 MW Isaac power station*
  • advising on a $370 million corporate financing in relation to New South Wales coal projects*
  • advising Zenobe on its EV financing and leasing arrangements in Australia, including a bus procurement and lease structure for eight battery-powered electric buses and four charging equipment units (with Clean Energy Finance Corporation involvement)*
  • advising the sponsors on the acquisition of PT Asian Bulk Logistics

Background

Christian joined the firm in February 2026. He holds a Juris Doctor degree and a Bachelor of Arts from Monash University. He is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia.
