Clémence Descoutures
Clémence is a senior projects lawyer with a strong focus on the energy, mining and infrastructure sectors.
Clémence began her career in the energy and infrastructure team in our Paris office, where she worked for three years before joining the Dubai office in 2025, where she continues her practice as a project development lawyer.
Her experience spans infrastructure development, project financings, PPPs and procurement, providing her with deep insight into the complexities of large-scale projects. She has worked closely with leading industry players and government entities, offering valuable perspectives on procurement processes from both the principal and contractor sides.
Clémence has advised on a broad range of projects, including wind, solar and hydropower facilities, mining operations and transport infrastructure (airport, railway and roads). Her experience spans multiple jurisdictions, including sub-Saharan Africa and other key international markets.
During her time at the firm, Clémence has spent time on secondment to the legal departments of a leading French energy sector player and a UAE-based leader in the industrial/ mining sector.
