Dima is an Associate in our Competition, Regulation and Trade team, and is based in London.
Dima advises clients across a wide range of sectors on competition law, with particular experience in merger control and foreign investment. He has represented clients before the UK Competition and Markets Authority, the Investment Security Unit, the European Commission and other authorities worldwide. He also advises on antitrust investigations, market studies and competition law compliance.
Dima is dual qualified in England and Wales and Finland and previously worked in the CMA’s Mergers Unit and at international law firms.

- advised a telecommunications company on the UK merger control review by the Competition and Markets Authority in connection with the sale of its smart locker business
- advised a consumer co-operative on the UK merger control review by the Competition and Markets Authority relating to the sale of 129 petrol forecourt sites and associated retail outlets
- advised a construction chemicals company during a Competition and Markets Authority investigation into suspected anti‑competitive conduct under Chapter I of the Competition Act 1998
- advised a software company during a Competition and Markets Authority investigation under Chapter II of the Competition Act 1998 into its conduct
Background
Dima studied law at the University of Turku and the London School of Economics and Political Science. He is qualified to practise in Finland and as a solicitor in England and Wales.
