Ellen O’Rourke
Ellen is a corporate lawyer specialising in governance and ESG matters.
As a member of the firm’s Head Office Advisory Team (HOAT), Ellen provides advice to both listed and unlisted entities on strategic corporate governance issues. She has experience advising on continuous and periodic disclosure, shareholder meetings, executive and employee remuneration, governance frameworks and policies, and board issues (such as directors’ duties, shareholder activism and emerging governance issues).
Ellen’s practice also includes providing pragmatic guidance on ESG-related matters including greenwashing, modern slavery reporting and risk management, and disclosure under Australia’s climate reporting regime.
In addition, Ellen has worked on governance and remuneration aspects of corporate transactions, including IPOs, demergers and M&A transactions.
