- three Chinese state-owned private equity funds which have invested in a Chinese company in relation to exercise of their put options, pursuing claims against the company and original shareholders, and in relation to the sale or winding up of that company
- a Chinese company in relation to an ongoing arbitration in HKIAC involving its claims under a share purchase agreement
- an international investment bank and a private enquiry fund in relation to an arbitration involving shareholder agreement and the related guarantees
- a Chinese company in relation to an arbitration in HKIAC involving its claims under the share purchase agreement
- a major Chinese contractor in relation to an arbitration in SIAC involving claiming arising from a supply agreement in relation to a chemical factory located in Russia
- UBS on a claim by the liquidators of Hsin Chong Construction Company Limited in the Court of First Instance in relation to its potential liabilities regarding property development projects in Sanshui, Foshan
- UBS AG and UBS Europe SE in proceedings commenced by the liquidators of China Metal Recycling (Holdings) Limited in the Court of First Instance for knowing receipt, dishonest assistance and fraudulent trading arising out of the IPO of China Metal Resources on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange
- Zhaojin Mining on its successful takeover bid for Tietto Minerals Limited, a company listed in Australia. This is the first overseas mining project invested by Zhaojin Mining
- China International Capital Corporation Hong Kong Securities Limited and Citigroup Global Markets Asia Limited as joint sponsors of China's leading agricultural company Dekon Food and Agriculture Group's HK$994 million listing on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange
- Hangzhou SF Intra-city Industrial Co., Ltd. on its corporate and listing rule compliance matters
Background
Emyth obtained Juris Doctor degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and completed his Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (PCLL) in the University of Hong Kong. Emyth is also a member (non-practicing) of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Before joining the firm, he has worked in fund and accounting industry. Emyth is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, and has intermediary proficiency in Japanese (N2).
