Fiona is a Knowledge Lawyer in the London planning and environment team.

Fiona is responsible for keeping the planning and real estate teams updated on key developments in planning law, including changes to legislation, policy, guidance and case law, and with changes in the market of interest to the practice area. She prepares and delivers training and legal know-how materials, both within the firm and to clients.

Background

Fiona joined the firm as a trainee solicitor in 1995. On qualification in 1997, she spent several years advising clients on a variety of development and real estate projects with a focus on planning, core real estate and real estate finance. On becoming a Knowledge Lawyer she narrowed her focus to planning law. Since returning to the firm in 2016 she has continued her role as a Knowledge Lawyer in the planning team, working closely with the wider real estate Knowledge Team to provide a joined up service to development clients.
